cup shredded cheddar

Instructions
-In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, onion powder, and chives. You can use a hand mixer or simply a spatula to mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated. -Once the mixture is well combined, shape it into a ball using your hands. You can adjust the size of the ball according to your preference. -Place a sheet of plastic wrap on your work surface and spread the shredded orange cheddar cheese evenly over it. -Roll the cream cheese ball in the shredded cheddar cheese, making sure it’s coated evenly. -Lift the plastic wrap from all sides to encase the cheese ball fully, and then twist the plastic wrap at the top to seal it. -To give your pumpkin cheese ball a decorative appearance, use a piece of kitchen string or twine to tie it in a crisscross pattern around the ball. This will create the lines of a pumpkin. -Refrigerate the wrapped cheese ball for at least 2-3 hours or until it’s firm. -Before serving, remove the plastic wrap and place the cheese ball on a serving plate. -To complete the pumpkin look, insert a bell pepper stem into the top of the cheese ball.
