Rinse and sort the dried black beans to remove any debris or impurities. Place the black beans, broth, and bay leaves in the Instant Pot. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and ensure the pressure release valve is set to the sealing position. Set the Instant Pot to manual or pressure cook mode on high pressure for 30 minutes. Once the cooking time is complete, allow for a natural pressure release for about 10 minutes. Then, carefully perform a quick pressure release to release any remaining pressure. Open the lid and remove the bay leaves from the cooked beans. If you prefer a thicker consistency, you can mash some of the beans with a spoon or potato masher. Taste the beans and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding salt and pepper if desired. Garnish with cilantro and lime juice
